I want to start my own export business, to export aluminum scrap from Canada to China and India. How do I set up the price to make a profit?

The prices for copper scrap are all market prices, you cant set up the price.
You only can follow the market selling price.
Scrap metal prices you will find online trading markets.

But if you going to buy metal from Canada, then you should buy as cheaply as possible, and lower your scrap collection costs as low as possible.

you need to do calculations:

1. What is your tottal full price for collected scrap metal at your warehouse, packed properly.
2. What is the CIF seafeight price to China Port ( to buyer port)
3. If you know what Chinese are paying currently to you at China port, then its easy for you to make it clear with what price you can make money.

But first make sure, what are current scarp prices, prices change very often, they are not stable.
