    Product Description


    Perlite comes from volcanic lava. For expanded perlite has low density and low heat conductivity characters. It is a kind of amorphous, glassiness volcano that contains crystalline water inside.


    Expanded perlite size
     0.5-1.5mm,1-2mm, 2-3mm, 1-4mm, 2-5mm,3-6mm, 4-8mm etc.


    Density for Perlite 


    For size of 0.5-2MM,1-3MM,2-4MM,3-6MM, the bulk density is around 60-90KG/M3.
    For filter aid grade, the bulk density is 110KG/M3,130KG/M3,150KG/M3.

    Perlite is used as a component of soilless growing mixes as it provides aeration and optimum moisture retention for superior plant growth, root cuttings. It also can be used in fertilizer , herbicides and pesticides carriers and for seed pelletizing. Horticultural perlite is as useful to the home gardener as it is to the commercial grower. 


      Construction applications

    Perlite is widely used as a loose fill insulation in masonry construction. Other construction applications include chimney linings, under-floor insulation, gypsum boards, paint texturing, ceiling tiles, and roof insulation boards etc.
