Perlite Size:

2,Expanded perlite,
0.01-0.2mm,2-3mm,0.5-1.5mm,1-4mm,2-5mm,3-6mm etc.
Bulk Density for perlite
For size of 0.5-2MM,1-3MM,2-4MM,3-6MM, the bulk density is around 55-80KG/M3.
For filter aid grade, the bulk density is 110KG/M3,130KG/M3,150KG/M3.
For Brilliant Expansion Perlite grade, the bulk density is 60-90KG/M3.
Application for perlite
Horticultural Applications
In horticultural applications, perlite is used throughout the world as a componet of soilless growing mixed where it provides aeration and optimum moisture retention for superior plant growth. Other horticultural applications for perlite are as a carrier for fertilizer, herbicides and pesticides and for peletizing seed.
Construction applications
Perlite is widely used as a loose fill insulation in masonry construction. Other construction applications include chimney linings, under-floor insulation, gypsum boards, paint texturing, ceiling tiles, and roof insulation boards etc.
