silicon Dioxide Amorphous Silica is the watery dispersoid of silicon dioxide. Its molecular formula can be written as mSiO2·nH2O.
Its used widely in industrial productions, such as investment casting, vacuum-formed fibrous shapes, refractory material, inorganic coatings, stool and mold coatings, textile industry products, papermaking and film, hot-top insulating boards, catalyst binders and support, package frictionizing, the treatment of carbon products, and enhanced foam rubber. It has also been used as a water-purifying agent, a clarification agent, a polish, a reinforcing agent, a molecular sieve, and other products.

Packing & Storage
Colloidal silica is packed in 25kg or 250kg plastic drums.
Store the colloidal silica at a temperature between 0 and 50, avoid exposure to the air, and insulate it from the sun.
Wash the empty drums as quickly as possible to avoid SiO2 crystalline deposits.
If you want to remove the deposition from empty drums, use a 10-percent NaOH solution at 50~60
