CAUSTIC SODA FLAKES used as a raw material in the manufacturing of soaps, detergents, textiles and paper. Also used in water softening, refining petroleum products, sanitation, hygiene and production chemicals. In food and drug industry, it is used as acidity regulator, alkali, impregnant’s pigment.
Product uses:
1. Used in paper making, cellulose pulp production
2. Used in the manufacture of soap, fatty acid neutralization, synthetic detergent, synthetic fatty acid production, and refining of vegetable oils or animal fat.
3. Used in the textile and dyeing industry as a desizing agent, boiling agent, and silk luster agent.
4. Used in the chemical industry to produce Borax, sodium cyanide, formic acid, oxalic acid, phenol, aluminum oxide, and to dispose of metal covers.
5. Used in the oil industry to refine petroleum products and in oilfield drilling muds.
6. Used as a detergent for all kinds of containers, such as pools, bottle cans, decolorizer, and deodorizer
7. Used as an alkaline desiccant.
8. Used to treat acidic sewage and hard water, to adjust the PH of water, to neutralize waste water, to remove heavy metal ions in sediment, etc.
9. Used in chemical experiments.
10. Also used in the medical industry, pesticide production, and leather, glass, and enamel production.
