    Colloidal silica is used in waterborne adhesive formulations to significantly increase the thermal stability and mechanical strength of the formed joints.  Simultaneously they can help to steer and optimize the viscosity of the adhesive formulation, as well as shorten the drying time for film forming organic dispersions.


    We have newly developed modified sols with special additives to bind problematic organic monomers and yield adhesive improvements.
