Main characteristics and Use
Sepiolite is a kind of rare minerals in nature. It is fibrous silicate minerals. The main property includes heat stability, strong adsorption, salt resistance, acid resistance, no pollution etc.
Sepiolite is used widely in petroleum, chemicals, building Materials, pharmacy etc. It is also used in insulation coating, filler and catalyst of various chemicals, suspending agent, thickener, clarifier, decolorization of different liquid. Besides, sepiolite is the ideal material for sound insulation, heat preservation, deodorization in the houses. Sepiolite offers a good opportunity for the domestic and international enterprises which produce asbestos, cement rubber, braking, friction, seals, heat insulation materials, coating, textile, adsorbent, fire retardant etc.
