Don’t count what you’ve already lost because past is past. If you want happiness, don’t walk together with your past. I understand that it maybe unforgettable but the truth is, past is just a lesson. Bring it back is a waste of time. Yes you can look back hence you must learn to let go and move on. The past never returns but the future may possibly fulfill the loss if you are a result-oriented person.
Don’t give up. When you are struggling with something, look at the people around you. Every single person you see is also struggling with something, and to them, it’s just as hard as what you’re going through. You really have to stumble and fall a lot of times for you to appreciate the luscious taste of happiness. In fact, it’s like a ratio of 10 pains to 1 real happiness and satisfaction.
Don’t be insecure. Aiming for better life is advisable yet you shouldn’t feel envy for the success of others. Their achievement must serve as an inspiration to you and for you to realize that there’s hope for everyone. Basing your actions on real circumstances would help you to set more realistic goals and expectations. Also, it will prevent you from dreaming an impossible one. On this way your success rate has a better chance of matching your happiness quotient. Appreciate little things. You must learn to cherish what you already have and of course plan what you will gain from it. However, don’t just stay in planning. You must learn a lot more in implementation and rank each according to priority. Do the priorities first. As soon as you accomplished one of your priorities, cross it out on your list and proceed to the next one. The satisfaction in knowing that there’s a result on your goal will surely lead you to happiness.
Don’t forget to have fun. Pamper yourself whenever you can or treat yourself after your recent accomplishment. You can go ahead with an all-nighter bar hopping, maybe bring your significant partner to a white-sandy beach, possibly be with your friends when you go to the movies, you can also consider your Mom when you go out for coffee, or if you have time to visit the nearest park in your area bring your pet with you. Spending time with them really helps so you could relax and enjoy life.
Share your blessings. The real purpose of life is not to win, but to grow and to share. When you come to look back on all that you’ve done in life, you will get more happiness and satisfaction from the pleasure that you have brought into other people’s lives; than you will from the times that you outdid them and defeated them. In fact, it’s not how to repay all the blessings we have received but how to pass them on to others.
Remember, different people placed in our lives for a reason. Some to challenge us, some to inspire us, some to encourage us and some more for other good reasons. Don’t forget that you also play a unique role in someone else’s life. So all you have to do is be happy whatever you’re doing. No matter how small or how difficult your task is always play the role that was given to you and always spread the love.
