Nothing. The GDP of Crimea is 4.3 billion. The median state in the US has 236 billion so a state would not be the equivalent. 4.3 billion is less than Pueblo, Colorado which is a bit above 6. I can't even find a city in Colorado people may have heard of that has that kind of economic power. The city would propbably have to have roughly 50 thousand people, that's a town. So maybe like setting up Grand Island, Nebraska as a free trade zone, big whoop. It would be seen as a pathetic publicity stunt and would likely backfire into a conversation about Russian corruption and it's weak economy.
