    1. Product name : cenosphere

    Cenospheres are hollow ceramic microspheres found in fly ash, a natural by-product of coal combustion during

     the generation of electric power. Small and hollow, microspheres are used as fillers or functional extenders in 

    the manufacture of plastics, paints, resins; light weight aggregates for cement, ceramics and other construction 

    products. Because Cenospheres often replace mined materials, they can significantly lower production costs. 

    Simultaneously, cenosphere can benefit finished product properties by increasing durability and better sound 

    proofing. Too, as material recycled from fly ash, cenosphere are environmentally friendly and help to preserve 

    natural virgin fillers.

    2. function of Cenosphere powder  : 

     

    • Low Density: Density ranging from 0.50 g/cm3 to 0.80 g/cm3. Compared to most ground minerals and other resins,
    • Cenospheres are 30-85% lighter.
    • Low resin demand/High loading potential: spheres have the lowest surface area to volume achievable with their
    • spherical shape,cenospheres produce less viscosity.
    • High Compressive Strength: Cenospheres can greatly improve the weariness properties of the end products.
    • Low Shrinkage: Cenospheres are one of the few products in the filler industry today that can meet the the requirements
    •  for low shrinkage.
    • Low Thermal,Electrical and sound Conductivity: Cenospheres are extremely resistant to heat and typically have a melting
    •  point in excess of 13000c. As cenospheres are hollow they have a relatively low co-efficient of thermal conductivity,

    • Inertness: Cenospheres can be utilized in solvents,organic chemicals water,acids and alkalies while maintaining their
    •  integrity.
    • Thermal stability: As cenospheres are formed in the boilers ,they are thermally stable in temperature exceeding 10000C
    • Insulation: Cenospheres can be used in electric filling and sealing materials ,instruments boards,switches etc.
    • Cost effectiveness : Cenospheres are 50-200% less expensive than man made hollow glass speheres,in comparison to
    • less expensive fillers.
