Sodium Acetate  properties:

Sodium Acetate is a white or non-color crystal. Its density is 1.45, melting point is 58°C. It is deliquescent in wet air, and efflorescent into white powder in dry air. When heated to 123°C,it will lose the crystal water and become sodium acetate without water. It solutes well in water and little in alcohol.

Application

Sodium acetate is used in the pharmaceutical industry, as a buffer in the photographic industry and as a supplement for animal feeds to increase the milk fat production of dairy cattle (1).It is also used in the production of dye stuffs, as a polymerization catalyst, as a polymer stabilizer, as a flavoring agent, and in the manufacture of hydroxyl oxides, which are used as extractants in hydrometallurgy.

Storage and Transpor

keep in cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse; keep away from oxidant and acids.
Keep away from oxidant, edible chemicals and other articles. To protect from direct sunlight, rain and high temperature. The transport vehicles shall be equipped with fire equipment and leakage treatment equipment.
