Introduction:

Biomass gasification furnace can make biomass materials into syngas.By controlling the inlet air capacity,biomass materials are managed to burn incompletely inside the furnace.The carbon contained in biomass materials will split into gas fuel under high temperature and anoxic.Biomass gas fuel mainly includes H₂,CO,CH₄,CnHm.

The outlet temperature of gas fuel will be about 350-850°C according to different types of biomass gasifier.There are also some tar,ash and impurities contained.To meet the requirements of internal-combustion generator,gas fuel need to be cooled and cleaned.When the temperature of gas is lower than 40°C,and tar & ash content is controlled within 50mg/Nm³,then syngas can be transported into internal-combustion generator to get power.

Suitable materials:

Various kinds of biomass wastes(agricultural & forestry wastes) are suitable,like woodchip,wood shaving,husk,straw,stalk,sugar bagasse,bamboo,coconut shell,palm shell,walnut shell,coco coir,corn cob etc.But plastic,rubber and other kinds of industry materials can not be used in this gasifier.
