Brief introduction:
HFGEL-140 rheological additives, is a newly developed shallow yellow organic ammonium modified smectite organic clay, suitable for low polar solvent system sealant, paint, ink. It has excellent thickening and rheological properties in this kind of system. They are dispersed and adapted to various temperature conditions.
Application:
HFGEL-140 is a new organic thickener and rheological additive. It is especially suitable for low to medium polarity system. It is applied to sealing material, asphalt paint and other anticorrosive paint and marine paint.
Use:
HFGEL-140 rheological additives can be directly added to the grinding process of products, and can be fully dispersed under the shearing action of grinding (or agitating) materials. Conventional gels can also be prepared and then dispersed in the system.

General methods of use in paint:
Add some resin solvent;
Add HFGEL-40 rheological additives, stirring at medium speed for 5-10 minutes;
Add organic soil amount of 30-50% polar activator (such as 95% ethanol, propylene carbonate, etc.), stirring at medium speed for 5-10 minutes;
Add wetting agent, body material, grinding, dispersing (stirring or sanding) to the required fineness;
Put the rest of the resin, solvent and other ingredients in the formula.
