    Our VMC-FR firebrick is a non-combustible board made from the expanded vermiculite and inorganic binder. It contains non mineral or glass fibers or asbestos. It is both ecological and resistant to temperatures up to 1100℃

    The boards feature good sound-absorbing and thermal insulating properties. Another advantage of the vermiculite boards is that they are easy to work using the normal wood-working tools. Various surface finishes can also be applied to the surface easily.

     

    Main application:  as insulation in reduction cells ,as back-up insulation in all types of furnaces (from carbon baking furnaces to remelting of scrap), replacement fire brick for wood burning or multifuelstoves etc.
